Woodland Hide
Woodland Hide, Suffolk. All year.
This hide should offer a large variety of birds throughout the day. The main highlight will likely be the kingfisher but they will not be anywhere near as regular as they are during the breeding season. Due to this I have set up the site for woodland birds to keep you entertained whilst the kingfisher isn't around. Great, blue tits are regular along with marsh, coal and long-tailed tits, various finches, dunnock, robin and great spotted woodpecker.
The set ups will vary by season often utilising freshly obtained branches of blossom, catkins, colourful leaves etc. There usually includes a fungus encrusted trunk for woodpeckers, a variety of photogenic perches and a raised woodland floor for obtaining ground level shots at a comfortable working height. If you prefer action shots alongside the portraits these can be set up too for flying or fighting birds.
Cost £140 per person.
